An Urgent Appeal for the Flood-Stricken Families of Punjab
Dear Friend,
Imagine watching your entire life’s work disappear under five feet of muddy water. For countless families in Punjab, India's breadbasket, this is the devastating new reality. Farmers who were weeks away from harvest now stand before ruined fields, their hopes for the season washed away with the crops. Families who built their homes over generations now huddle on rooftops or by the side of the road, left with only the clothes on their backs.

This is the face of the worst flood to hit Punjab in 50 years. The scale is staggering: more than 2,100 villages are submerged, and nearly 400,000 people have seen their lives turned upside down.
Hope India Mission's Call to Action
265 of our church families are directly affected.
Our compassion is for all. When providing aid in a village, we serve the entire community, not only our believers.
500 is the minimum number of emergency food kits needed.
Each kit provides 10 days of survival for a family.
From rich to poor, all are affected.
Our Plan for Relief and Recovery
To meet this crisis, Hope India Mission is launching an urgent, two-phase response to provide both immediate relief and long-term recovery.
Phase One: Survival
The first priority is to ensure no family goes hungry. We are preparing to distribute 500 emergency food kits containing essentials like wheat flour, rice, pulses, and oil to sustain a family for 10 days.
Phase Two: Replanting
Once the immediate hunger crisis is addressed, we will provide farmers with the seeds and fertilizer they desperately need to restore their farms, empowering them to rebuild their future from the ground up.
