35TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE WHY IT WAS IMPORTANT?

From 29 to 31 October (2019), more than 1200 representatives including Executive Board Members, Pastors, House Church leaders, hundreds of mission volunteers and other staff of the various departments from 6 North Indian States of our Mission joined in fellowship and thanksgiving at Vision Center – Patna, the capital city of the State of Bihar (which is also the headquarter of Hope India Mission). The believer representatives came all the way from the States like Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jammu & Kashmir. The conference had three separate simultaneous sessions for adults, youths & Kids. It was an attempt to empower the ongoing ministry to new heights by engaging, igniting and inspiring these individuals to perform and achieve at their highest potential.

THE OUTCOMES

The adults, youth & children are rejuvenated by the Holy Spirit ! Separate sessions for emerging youth leaders and the children of the lay leaders allowed them to energize, motivate, and deep root as zealous individuals. It was also a platform for them to exhibit their talents before others. Our House Church leaders are now encouraged witnessing the huge crowd -gathering as they learned a lot from the yearly fellowship. At this time of persecution and agony, these lay leaders had enough time to spend with their fellow counterparts to share their stories while they united as a single community of native Christians. This opportunity provided them to get a sense of positive feeling that they are neither alone nor a suppressed minority community in North India but a united and organized group of precious children of God. Our native believer’s biggest life concerns is their children’s marriage. After they have adopted the new faith, finding a suitable Christian partner is almost difficult (Almost every Indian marriages are arranged by parents) This BIG gathering has given them enough exposure to mingle with multi-cultural leaders who come from different states and helped them match some suitable soul mates for their children.
